Wasted and wounded, it ain't what the moon did
[It's been a few days since the...incident with Kumagawa. Thanks to Sei things turned out better than they could have, but it still isn't something Touya could just recover from. He's spent these last few days in his room, avoiding contact with others as much as possible, not eating or talking, barely even responding to anything. Today, Audi finally kicked him out of the room to eat something.
Flatmates can find him poking about for food and making a small and simple snack. He still isn't very hungry, but health is important.
Later on, he ventures out to the streets. With the seal back in its proper place, Bouffalant wasn't really conscious enough to follow Touya, so now Touya's out looking for the buffafro that's been meandering through the streets for days. They'll find eachother eventually, they always do.
Finally, after he's found his buffalo, Touya can be found in a park or other relatively peaceful part of London. He's sitting with his eyes closed, back against the large Pokemon, just listening to everything around him. His head's been ringing ever since that event, maybe if he focuses and listens he can find the cause. He's still too jittery for this to look like meditation though.]

[Or it was. Now it's just "or else."]
no subject
[The more he talks about it, the more upset Touya sounds.]
no subject
[Or else.
There it goes.]
no subject
WHAT
WHA-- okay, no, he knows such things are possible, he'd seen his mother practically working miracles while she was alive several times, but...well, don't expect him to do it (he might actually do it).]
F-Fully?! [He's heard of other Healers attempting what his mom did, but the replaced or regrown part wouldn't usually work as well as the original did.]

[His mom was awesome, seh could heal anything short of death and didn't afraid of anything.]

[He's actually getting homesick for a place where he was homeless and pretty much everyone hated him or would hate him.]
no subject
[You know how it goes. There's a hole in the world like a great black pit and it's filled with people who are filled with shit and the vermin of the world inhabit it.]
no subject
At the top of the hole sit a privileged few making mock of the vermin n the lower zoo turning beauty into filth and greed - I too, yadda yadda.]

[It's a very, very, very hollow laugh. Observant Touyas may note her smile doesn't quite reach her eyes. If you were to read her expression just from them, it'd probably come off as a little derisive. "Haha, you idiot, you have no idea."
For the cruelty of men is as wondrous as Peru. But there's no place like London.]
Once you've learned to comprehend the noise, Sir, it truly isn't bad at all! I, at least, have never felt lonely!
no subject
He does note that. He hears it in the laugh first, because he always hears things first, but it's there. He can read the sentiment, too - and he knows that. He's only been here two months, you've been here presumably all your life, there's no way he'd know more about the scope of these things than you.]
I-I'm used to hearing a lot more than other people. I can hear heartbeats from a dozen feet away without trying. But...I don't know if I could learn to understand this noise. It...it's everything. I can hear everything - voices, that...wrongness that surrounded that guy, you said his name was Kumagawa, I can even hear the damage to my soul. Constantly. It's just...worse here, because there's more to hear. [He doesn't even know if he's heard Their voices, it's just all the rest of the stuff he can hear getting to him right now.]
no subject
[A beat.]
In that case, Sir, all that's left is to comprehend.
[Another beat. She has to think on how to say it -]

[She doesn't really mean anything by it. She's only trying to defend the boy she friend-loves and the gods she likes and the city she's come to tolerate. So she would be legitimately upset if the sound of her voice speaking in the language of the Great Old Ones was so hideously offensive to the very fabric of reality it just happened to drive him insane or make his ears bleed a little or something.
Or maybe it just causes a little hallucination-blip in his already terrible day. Instead of words, he hears the screech of a microphone or droning white noise or the buzzing of thousands of insects. Or maybe he hears words, and nothing else happens?
The point is that the choice is yours.]
no subject
Still, it was different this time. It sounded a little bit like actual words, no just the garbled nonsense he sometimes hears here. It sounded like words, but that's all - words in another language more than something roaring in the background. It's progress, but that was so painful and loud he isn't sure he could stand actually learning to understand Them. He can't even say anything right now or think beyond the ringing in his ears.]
no subject
-- I-I'm sorry... ah, I suppose not, if you've bled from your ears, then perhaps it's best that you refrain from listening to Them too closely. My apologies. It wasn't my intention to hurt you, after all!
no subject
B-But it...that sounded almost like a sentence... I-I could hear individual clusters of s-sounds, like words, i-instead of just an unintelligible r-rumble. I-I couldn't tell what they meant at all, but it...it at least s-sounded like a different language. [But please oh please do not do that in close range or without warning again.]
no subject
-- Ah, but Mr Liam...
[She just sort of allows herself to trail off. She doesn't really want to talk about him, not until she's sure everything's all right -- but Touya can get the general idea of their relationship from the slight pink rising in her cheeks (it's just the cold :T).]
no subject
I'm...not sure I want to. Y-You said you've never been lonely because of Them, but me...I-I've never known what it's like to n-not be lonely. A-And I'm not sure they'd f-fix that, they might just...y-you know, make things worse.
no subject
Because she tries her damnedest to control it anyway.]
Ah, I misspoke. I was lonely for quite some time -- even hearing Their voices, I could think of them only as a burden. At the time that I met Kumagawa, I had only a single friend -- but, then he assisted me in understanding Them. He then became my friend as well!
no subject
I'd...say you're doing better than me, in that case. [There's a bitter smile. Oh-so-very-bitter.] I've made...three friends, but..I haven't seen the first two n a long tie and wouldn't be surprised if they've forgotten me, a-and I'm not sure the other one considers me a friend anymore. [In his experience? Going Berserk like he did always drives people away.]

[Cheren and Bianca... Cheren very well may have given up on him, he was like that, and while Bianca never would intentionally...she's kind of dumb and ditzy. It finally occurs to him he hasn't introduced himself.]
O-Oh, you...don't need to call me "sir". My name is Touya.
