EXPECT DELAYS BECAUSE I LIVE WITH ASSHOLES]
bad daughter go to bed
[Seriously, rude much. But it's amusing how he can say that in irritation, but deadpan the rest.]
The only thing she'd ask me is to kill you. If you're worried about your secrets or her raping you when you're sleeping, then she's already done so.
[How are they brother and sister- oh right, they're both terrible people.]

I'm going to insist she pay for any sleep molestation, I can't be giving out freebies.

But as long as she's dating Zelos, it should only be questionable boundaries, not the entire smoking after sex thing she does.
[Deadpan party over here. The only difference is Will sounds entirely serious about it.]
no subject
[He means the smoking, but Will can take this however he wishes.]
no subject
[She has no taste in any sense of the statement. It works.]

[That is spoken with that weird tone between regret and acceptance. No explanation follows the two words.]
no subject
[He won't ask, because it doesn't matter to him.]
I found an elf last week. I can't answer even half of her questions on what's happened to her. Do you have notes on this or what?
no subject
[He's wise not to ask, because something about that statement sets off a few sirens, deep down in the place that isn't programming or contracts but just Nature.
And he doesn't even break face at the elf comment.] She's been mentioned in a few reports to be monitored. I wouldn't mind answering her questions, if she has no problems being associated with me. If you want to explain... Then you can't.
no subject
[Which is his way of saying "She doesn't know any better, don't think ill of her for it". You can think he's an idiot all he wants, be nice to the elf. B||]
...Will, can you answer questions about the seraph. [Not will you. Are you able. Will it be a problem. ]
no subject
[The observers are going to rat him out again and then he'll get more letters from the priests trying to fire him or kill his friends' friends and that makes Lion furious and it's kind of rude too, so not happening, and being around them still makes the programming kick in, dammit Sei why is he looking after you-
But at least that last question gets the thought to end and Will to freeze. An odd one stare of not focusing on anything or anyone or anythought at all. The answer takes a bit to get out.]
That... It depends. And you need a damned good reason for it.
[Example on how good of a reason it needs to be: wait a minute, he actually cursed???]
no subject
[He kind of shrugs. He doesn't expect Will to answer if he doesn't want to.] Merrill's not an abomination, she just has no filter.
no subject
Probably the worst part is the dodge is unconscious. Ah well.] Whatever surprises you stumbled on happened when that seal fell off you. I hope you figured out how to replace it.
[And the latter part gets a dismissive wave.] Whatever. You're not the first one to impose the "please don't murder so-and-so" rule. I won't murder her.
no subject
no subject
[Just as flat. Because if that's the case, you're an idiot.]
no subject
I'll keep what's left of my damn sanity first before I seal it again, thank you.
no subject
I see... Okay. And at which point in time did you try using your own abilities to retract it.

There's nothing natural about it. It feels like sandpaper up my ass to even reign it in. It had nothing to do with the Dark Man, except I think he was hoping I'd take out the city when it snapped.
no subject
Then completely derailing the conversation by how off-topic the response is.] What time were you leaving?

[Said while glancing back, and the windows have a strange flash of blood red before a black wall blocks it, smoking at the edges. Attempts to open the door that just slammed shut behind him fail - the doorknob doesn't even turn. The door's a wall. The only air vent is gone. After all, Sei's in a closed room. Of course there'd be no escape from it.]
I can only think of one thing preventing it. So I have one question. Have you ever left?
no subject
A closed room doesn't seem to effect him. He breaks the rules.]
This is...Ah. AH! [He slaps his hand with a fist, leaning back from the wall.]
No, how could I? A human can't leave.
no subject
No one can leave, actually. Do you think I'd be here willingly? ...But I can at least make it back off.
[It's a calm statement, but the expression isn't someone about to do a favor. It's the face of someone about to do something they hate doing, because it sucks in every sense of the world. But a black sword is still drawn from nowhere and Sei's enough of a reality breaker to watch how smoothly Will cuts through it and shatters a level off reality.
His office is not nice anymore. It's overcast, blood stains of varying ages on the desk, papers, walls, and floor. Pieces of bodies lie around the area, along with a few maimed corpses still chained to the walls. His outfit has changed into a blue overcoat that somehow, intrinsically, Sei knows it belongs to the Inquisitors. But most importantly, despite the room being so small, the space it fills is infinite.
It's a literal infinity, in all directions, and it feels off, lacking, missing something fundamental, and wrong, but that glimpse of a space without walls still feels like coming Home.]
Get used to it and we'll start your lessons.
