a.k.a. that time Kisha shoved a bunch of shit together and called it good.

1. FLUFF MEME

1 - Cuddling - for some reason you both just want to be close to each other, constantly touching and snuggling.
2 - Pillow Talk - it's the morning after (or immediately after) and you're up for some pillow talk.
3 - Celebration - maybe it's Christmas or your birthday or a special anniversary or something else but it's just a good day to celebrate something.

8. Folie à deux - the more either you or the other person talks, the more you feed into this unease and the more real it sounds. what can you two alone do?

Let's get to know each other with questions. What is your favourite food?

I don't really think much about that. I guess I might like sweet things.

[she turns over a queen and a three. she frowns, turning them over again]

What about you?

[This time it's a seven and a nine. Hanyuu makes a little 'auu' because her memory is going to fail really fast on all these different cards.]

I like sweet things best, too! Chou à la crèmes are my favourite. They're cream puffs with chocolate on top.

Maybe you can find somewhere here that sells things like that.

[she turns them over again, a six and a two. She makes an annoyed sound, turning them back over again]

[awkwardly] Have you been here very long?

N-Not really. Only a couple of weeks. I don't really like it here. The people are scary.

[Next flip is a seven and a three. Hanyuu tries to remember where the match was before flipping them back over.]

Have you been all right?

No one has hurt you, have they?

[she remembers both of those numbers coming up before. She flips over Hanyuu's seven, and then eyes two spots, she's sure the other seven is under one of them. She finally decides on one, flipping over her three from earlier instead. She makes another frustrated noise flipping them over again]

I don't think I like this game. Is there another game we can play?

[Hanyuu is a little surprised but she nods quickly. Normally, she might blame herself but it's okay.] D-Do you know how to play Old Maid?

[She starts picking up the cards, smiling.]

I'm all right. P-People weren't nice so I hid. I'm good at hiding. But I could tell you were a good person.

I think so. Tell me how to play again.

[she does feel bad, but she'd rather not play a memory based game]

What makes you say that?

[Funny enough, she picked it because of the time sensing element. But Hanyuu smiles and finishes messing with the cards, taking whatever the top card is and setting it aside.]

W-Well since there's two of us, we'll end up with a lot of cards each if we play normally. So I thought of something! I'll deal us a hand and put the rest here in the center. We can still take a card from each other each turn but draw one, too, to make up for it. The goal is to pair off matching cards and put them down. Since I took one out of the deck, one of us will end up with a card that doesn't match.

[As she explains, she deals a hand. She also gives a more gentle smile before answering the other question.]

You feel familiar to me.

[she nods, although Hanyuu's last statement is the one that catches her attention. It was something she was always waiting for people she knew by heart to tell her, yet here was stranger telling her that]

Familiar how?

[While sorting the cards, she thinks how to word it without sounding startling.]

Fate...is cruel and imposing. I can sense people who are fighting fate in the same way that I am. [Quickly.] P-Please don't be afraid. It's a painful subject whatever it must be. That's why I wanted to cheer you up. I try to keep my hopes up, too.

[she wants to deny that it's fate, but no, it is definitely fate. She can't even deny that much anymore]

I sometimes think that's why this place exists, to remove me long enough to distract me so I forget everything I've learned, and then throw me back in again.

I forget a really important detail each time. [Hanyuu deals their cards. Maybe doing this so long means it's easier for her to relax and play at the same time.] This time I d-definitely won't! It is so. For a long time I didn't really believe fate could be beaten but I decided I won't give up. People I love are counting on me to believe in a miracle.

[She smiles over at her.] Let's do our best, Homura. Until we can fight again, we won't forget but we won't lose heart, either.

[a soft smile] As long as you continue to be yourself and keep fighting for that miracle, I'm sure it will come true.

You said you found someplace to hide. Does that mean you're staying somewhere?

[Brightly.] Here! No one has found me here yet.

[And, tongue-poking out a bit, she yoinks a card from Homura.]

It's not very safe just to stay outside. If you care at all about the people you're trying to protect, you'll have to take better care of yourself.

[she debates which card to take before finally deciding on one]

Auauauuu... [Hanyuu debates on a card, picks one and smiles. A pair. She sets them down and draws a new card from the pile. No pairs.] You're right but I'm not used to being a physical being. It is so.

What kind of being are you usually? [picks another card from Hanyuu's cards. Still no pairs.]

Auauau, a God, I guess. But 'higher being' makes more sense. [She picks again but isn't lucky this time.]

It's surprising, I'd expect a higher being to do a little better at children's card games.

[it's amused and teasing, she tries to hide her smile as she picks another card, finally getting a match. This is exciting! Although, she quickly tries to hide her excitement behind her pokerface]

Auauauuuu... [Despite her little cry, it's different from her anxious or sad ones. More like the sound a friend might make when teased and happy.

Seeing Homura smile makes her happy too.] I only played a few times! I usually watched.

[Of course, when she gets a pair this time, her excitement is clear.]

Why did you only watch?

[no match this time, oh well. It's nice just playing with someone though]

No one else could see or hear me, except for Rika.

[No match this time for her either but she remains cheerful.]

How did you get them to notice you?

That was a real miracle. I-It might sound impossible but I think we believed hard enough and it happened that way.
