[That gets a blink, eyes darting to her after she said it. Most adjectives that came up about his voice were things like 'deep' or 'apathetic' or 'scary'. A few others that were even farther from her dazed compliment. And it's so obviously genuine and so far from nowhere, Lion can see his own thoughts lapse in a quiet embarrassment.

Then she's speaking again and back to sending jolts through his nervous system and the momentary lapse is over when his mind comes back to focus.]
Ah. Thanks. Yeah... At least you have the knowledge on what's... invest-worthy.

[That isn't a word and he'd hate himself more for it if he had the focus to catch it.]
