sacrificial_lambda[Bookstores are amazing places. While this one somewhat lacks the comic books Richard loved as a child, there are, nonetheless, a variety of books and genres--and all of them, all of them new territory. Stories he doesn't already know. It's a little like a bit of heaven.]
[He's been here an hour, flitting from tome to tome, looking for both himself (he already has a small stack of likely candidates) and Sophie, which is considerably harder since he's not sure what books are proper for a young woman, especially one as odd as Sophie.]
[Richard is fairly tall, but the really tall man with the red streak in his hair is... Really tall. And distinctive. And when he enters the shop Richard takes note. Ah-ha. That must be Willard. Erika mentioned he was an author of sorts, yes? It would be rather rude to approach him out of the blue. But then again...]
[It is all in the name and cause of literary pursuit, yes? Excellent. Then this meeting must be considered fate, and the chance seized!]
Excuse me sir.
[Richard steps over, makes a gesture with his hand, vague and nancy, to catch Will's eye.]
