And now you're here, corrupting the youth of Victorian London. [he flops down on her so his head is lying in her lap and he's staring up at her face]

[She looks down at him and holds up a bottle.] Feel like having me corrupt you? It might help you relax.

[he hesitates, considering it] It's normal, right? There isn't honey or some kind of wonder drug in there.

[Shaking her head.] Just what's normally in alcohol. I don't touch anything else.

What a pure corrupter. At least I'm in capable hands. I wonder if any of Mairu-chan's stories start this way? Someone young and innocent intoxicated by someone older and more experienced.

[Tapping him on the head lightly with the bottom of the bottle.]

If it ends like any of her stories, you're sleeping outside.

What if I grow tentacles? Then I'll have eight arms to hold you and pleasure you. It's a horrible dream come true. [he wraps his arm around her waist, nuzxling her stomach. A hand reaches up blindly to take the bottle]

[She hesitates before letting him take it.] No thanks. I'll jump in the river if I'm feeling like that. Just don't try to drink too much in one go if you aren't used to it.

[he sits up, sniffing it, before taking a swig. He makes a face handing it back to Ange]

Did you make that mistake your first time?

[Ange takes it back, a little amused, and digs around in the bag for another bottle. She holds it out to him.] Try this one. And I didn't exactly. I've had a few drinks before but nothing major. I don't remember what made drinking here seem like a good idea but it hasn't been a bad one anyway.

[he takes the second bottle, taking a few sips]

It's good to see you having fun. I'm glad you can do that with Will. I'm still really greedy though, because as much fun as Mairu-chan is, I've missed being alone with you.

[She laughs a little.]

Maybe I should call you Mammon. ...I've missed you, too. Feels almost like having a kid or something, when the parents can't get time together. [Ange takes a drink from the bottle Kida gave her before.] You can be my drinking partner tonight.

My youthful days are behind me. I'm now a family man. What will become of me? No wonder I've turned to drinking. [he toasts her bottle with his own before taking another sip] Oh, that reminds me. I got you something! [he puts the bottle on the night stand, and then rolls off of Ange's lap and heads towards one of the drawers. He hands her a shopping bag with a box inside that has a necklace inside] I saw it while I was out, and I thought you might like it. Sadly, I haven't come across any crane games yet though.

[Ange blinks as she opens it. It's very pretty and she loves it. But she's reeling a little just from getting a gift in the first place. It takes her a moment to recover and she smiles at him, something warm and rare and not tainted by a promise she can't remember.]

...Thank you. It's really nice. [Maybe at a loss for words but her look should be enough. She takes it out and pulls her hair away to put it on.]

I would've gotten you sexy lingerie, but it's seriously lacking around here, at least in the places I can get into. Ah, that would've been the perfect gift. I wonder if I take Mairu-chan with me next time if I'll be able to get into some of those kinds of places.

[he helps her put it on]

Plus it reminded me of those sexy loli hairties you wear.

[She smiles, playing with the necklace for a moment. Then she leans forward and kisses him.]

Are you trying to write a joke book with lines like that?

[he kisses her back, then wraps his arms around her and pulls her down to lie with him cuddled on the bed]

What part sounded like a joke? I was completely serious about the whole thing!

[She lets herself be tugged down. What a cuddly dork.]

Lingerie, seriously? And using words like 'sexy' and 'loli' make it pretty hard to think you mean it.

You don't think you'd look really [this time in English] 'sexy' wearing something lacy and barely there? It's like when someone makes a meal that looks so nice you don't even want to eat it because it looks so good.

[he sits up a little to grab the bottle on the night stand, taking a sip and then offering it to Ange]

[She rolls her eyes and accepts the bottle.] 'In your dreams.' [Taking a longer drink since she's pretty used to this stuff. But she smiles.]

But...I really like it. [Not even going to take it off, either.] Way better than something 'sexy.' That's a gift for you, anyway.

Ange-chan and sexy underwear are always filling my dreams. What's so wrong with making my dreams into a reality?

[he smiles and then just nuzzles her shoulder]

[She shifts to nuzzle him back between a couple more drinks.]

...Maybe if you find something that doesn't look too stupid...

[he pulls himself up to look at her, surprised]

Really? I didn't expect for you to actually say yes. Now I at least know what I'll get you for Christmas.

[he nuzzles her stomach]

Something pink to match your hair ties, right?

[Ange squirms a little at the nuzzles but not out of discomfort. One hand rests on the back of his neck, just idly rubbing.]

Uhm...yeah. Or red if you want. Those hues look best on me. Black is probably pretty common...
