Wasted and wounded, it ain't what the moon did

[It's been a few days since the...incident with Kumagawa. Thanks to Sei things turned out better than they could have, but it still isn't something Touya could just recover from. He's spent these last few days in his room, avoiding contact with others as much as possible, not eating or talking, barely even responding to anything. Today, Audi finally kicked him out of the room to  eat something.

Flatmates can find him poking about for food and making a small and simple snack. He still isn't very hungry, but health is important.

Later on, he ventures out to the streets. With the seal back in its proper place, Bouffalant wasn't really conscious enough to follow Touya, so now Touya's out looking for the buffafro that's been meandering through the streets for days. They'll find eachother eventually, they always do.

Finally, after he's found his buffalo, Touya can be found in a park or other relatively peaceful part of London. He's sitting with his eyes closed, back against the large Pokemon, just listening to everything around him. His head's been ringing ever since that event, maybe if he focuses and listens he can find the cause. He's still too jittery for this to look like meditation though.]

[He really isn't sure if it's a good thing to be interesting to you or not sometimes.

He pauses, trying to sort out how to answer. He...can trust the people he lives with, right? Then again, he's made that mistake before. More than once.]

It...It's hard to explain, but...I was attacked a few days ago - Sei helped me - and there's still damage, but it isn't physical. It's...spiritual, and I can hear it constantly, and...I don't even know if it can heal.

[He is not sure that made sense, but he'd really rather not have to explain the mechanics of his world right now.]

[... A flat look. As usual, it's hard to tell, but anyone observant might get that idea.]

[She hardly even believes in them. Now, if it were a psychological issue, hoo boy you'd be in good hands. Lobotomies are fun for the whole family!]

[...He's suddenly quite glad Audi fixed up all his physical injuries.]

I'll...figure out something. Don't worry. [He doesn't think you will. At least not much.]

[Or at all. She'll try though. She'll try so hard.]

Figure it out quickly before the human starts to worry.

[It takes him a few moments to figure out who you mean by that. After that incident, there's no way Sei is human, he's sure Merril isn't, and you wouldn't refer to yourself like that (he thinks, people do strange things sometimes, he doesn't know), but it would make no sense for it to be him in this context... So you probably mean Sei, since he isn't obviously inhuman and it makes more sense in context...ah whatever, he can think about it later.]

If nothing else, I can just...learn to deal with it.

[Well. Neither is she, really. Bird, oldtime siren, harpy, whatever you want to call it, she's not quite human.]

If that deals with it.

[A short beat, like she's realized she's being sort of insensitive.]

[Yes, but Touya isn't really thinking very clearly. He really is the only human in the house.

Touya just shrugs in response. He's used to being alone. He's always alone. And even though this makes him lonelier than ever, having the bond with his Pokemon not working right, he's long since gotten used to dealing with things.]

[A beat.]

[...Okay, that gets a tiny smile out of him.]
