[Today is a terrible day! You do not know why it's a terrible day, but it is. Everything's ominous and you've probably walked into ten tables and door frames and couldn't find your favorite coat and perhaps even got robbed by a hobo. Either way, your luck is terrible! Enjoy it! Or not. Because it'll get worse.
Meanwhile in Michi's residence, a corpse has disappeared. Corpses do not usually get up and wander away. This one did and is found standing in the middle of the street staring at nothing. It is almost as terrible as your day is, and you simultaneously run away and get closer.
Both of these are terrible ideas, but there is no correlation between them whatsoever. You're silly to think that way! Go enjoy your terrible day! However you wish to.
But no really, to anyone who comes over there is nothing but terrible here. And up to three bingo squares. Have fun guys.]

But yeah. Good luck, bless his heart. She purses her lips, thinking on this as hard as she possibly can -- she understands it. She understands love, and how people love each other. She loves her father and them. She loves Kumagawa, and Liam, and Christopher. Between Kumagawa and her father and her grandparents and the books in their library, she understands romantic love. Kumagawa loves Ajimu and her father loved her mother and her grandparents loved each other. Different from how she feels. It's a fine little line.
So it's... a possibility for someone else to love her, and for her to love someone else, like what they have? She hits a roadblock there. It doesn't make any sense. What idiot would waste their precious time and money courting this? There are hundreds of thousands of smarter, prettier, saner women out there.
So a little half-heartedly, even if she tries to hide it some of it seeps into her tone -]
Oh...! Yes, I see. That certainly does sound wonderful. It incorporates elements of friendships, but is even more intimate!

What I say here is never to be used against me. Okay?
[She's probably going to use it against him anyway. Stupid friends.] With that one person, your flaws 'become nothing'.
[Then there's another panel jump and he's back in his seat, hands steepled and perfectly deadpan.] But you're right. Sometimes the one you love is your closest friend.

-- I understand. But, I'm...
[A monster? An abomination against God? Something that shouldn't exist? All of the above?]

[Finished right after her hesitation, finishing the sentence easily. And the smile afterward is horrifying, subjectively, but is objectively completely honest.]
no subject
[Right. She said that herself. Christopher's as human as him or her. She meant it as a compliment.
.......... But she wasn't expecting it to be used against her like this, don't be a jerk, Kumagawa.]
... Yes.
I'll try...

You're a better optimist than me. You'll remember it.

[I don't want to talk about thisssss]
Is Miss Ajimu well?
no subject
I don't want to talk about this D:
But fair's fair, shit-] She's mad.

[She's that mad. Contrary to the V-signing brunette that appears in Michi's mental vision.]

[And if Michi has even the most rudimentary knowledge of love, she will be immediately beaned upside the head with the brick known as "Why The Girlfriend Who Is Constantly Alone Is Pissed".]

[...... shit.]
... Is that what you traded for us?

How will you see her, if you no longer resurrect?
[......... wait shit back up]
-- And you prior to deciding against leaving, you mentioned that you would allow one of those people to kill you! Please explain!

[In the moment it takes to put that answer and the question he ignored together is the moment she gets the right answer.
And then he kicks her thought in the face.] Has Liam asked you out yet?
no subject
[Which is all she really has to say on the matter. Don't die unless you're going to get better. :T]
... I'm not certain what you mean.
no subject
But he doesn't explain this, because he's currently stuck in the position of not talking about her anymore they're already about to break up and not wanting to hurt her any further because her life is already kind of shitty today.
Instead, let us take the middle road, and just ruin Liam's life.] To use terms you're familiar with, he's trying to court you.

[The most elegant of responses.]

[He doesn't like repeating himself-- Well, Michi can probably be forgiven in this case.]
no subject
She has never not heard him clearly, putting the brackets aside.]
B-But -- why? I'm not...
[Normal or sane or charming I don't understand boundaries I'm barely even a human wait no Kumagawa said to stop that I guess I'm a human but what about the rest?]

What... do I do? This entire time...
[It makes a lot of sense in retrospect. The flushing. The gifts. This whole time she'd been totally oblivious Jesus Christ what a bitch. Shouldn't she know how having your feelings ignored feels better than anyone?]
Erm --
I don't understand.

worth it]
Do whatever you feel. That's the point. But be sure to tell him you know what his actions mean.
