baby left her alibi at the front door
[Today, a watchful person may notice any number of things:]
[One, there is suddenly, in those seedier parts of town where good boys and girls aren't meant to go, a shiny, new, healthy-looking clinic. Come one, come all, pimps and prostitutes, otherworlders and unfortunately curious tourists!]
[Two, at the docks, there is what is either a castrated man or a mildly masculine-looking woman in a heated argument with what we can assume to be the owner of the rather large ship they're standing in front of. ... Heated on his part, that is. Our prettyboy seems nothing if not completely unconcerned, even as they plead their case.]
[And three, some gent only recognizable by King's College students or anyone unfortunate(?) enough to have visited one Miss "Elaine" while he's around. He's just doing some shopping, though. Uninteresting as usual, Slenderfucker.]

It's just an answer to a riddle...I bet they'd know, how sad.

Maybe I read a book along those lines once...
[Goes quiet for a bit, thinkinggg -- oh]
... An animal, right?

[She starts, as if she just remembered something quite important.]
Oh, that's it, that's right, how could I forget!

"Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo," right?

Is it that exciting, though?

...It's quite a tragic situation, come to think of it.

... But it's still unfortunate, yeah. Even for buffalo.
