[After intense debate - a word which here means 'a lot of whining and pouting' - Erika got Zelos's permission to go talk to Willard. The only conditions were that Zelos be allowed to wait nearby and no fighting. Both very reasonable requests, really, considering the state Erika was left in after the last talk.

Right now, she has a theory. Will's been in a bad state and probably by this point doesn't even know what day it is or what events are going on. Probably he was at fault for the whole Dagon thing but that's not so surprising. More surprising is that it happened. And Mikado wants to talk to Will about it, meaning who knows what could happen, but Erika wants to check Will's mood first.

So Zelos gets to wait with some church ladies while Erika heads Will off. If she's right, he probably still was thinking he had to show up at Dagon at some point to check on her, too. Or he's just really out of it and who knows but either way, given everything that happened and Will's status, she figures her guess is spot on when she catches Will heading out.]

Willard, you're looking splendid as ever.

[Sure, she might be making his heart attack worse but the point is that she won. Clearly, her joy should be more than enough to comfort Willard in this time of need. Or something like that.]

[Well in Erika's defense, she's not trying to make him flip out worse. Once she's onto something, though, it's harder to get her to stop.]

[It takes a couple seconds longer to get the air required to argue back. Wait, no, she's hallucinating it, stupid sister.] Don't blame me for your own curiosity! You can't call salt on something that stupid!

I can call salt on anything I want! You can, too, but you can't think of anything to get me back, riiiiight? [She noticed that, though. Hmm. Must...calm him...somehow?] Like right now! Salt! Are you really feeling well enough to argue with me, Willard?

[His stupid neurotic moments always have such noble sources. It's just they're stupid neurotic moments. And while there is a deep glare at the second question, it does blunt most of the momentum of said stupid neurotic moment.] Don't give me lectures. It's not that bad.

[At least she wins sort of! She pats him lightly on the head.] 'Not that bad'?

[And he growls for her efforts, swatting her hand away weakly. The grumpiest of birds.] Shut up.

[She giggles because awww he's so cute when he's grumpy!] What's wrong? Ah, aside from the irregular beat of your heart. You really should relax, Willard.

[Irritated sigh goes here, wilting a bit with it. Neurotic mode ended. Very good, Erika.] Don't patronize me. I'm trying.

[Yay she did something good for once! And her smile might be a little gentler if you squint. Still teasing, though.] Should I sing for you to ease your troubled mind?

[If he squints, which he does, but for different reasons. Singing. ...No. She's a harpy when she sings. Enjoy getting socked in your good arm, Erika.] I'd be so at ease my heart would stop. Rather not.

[She makes a soft noise because ow. But at least it wasn't that bad. She still rubs at it anyway.] It's hardly my fault my singing would lull you into an eternal sleep. I'm truly a siren at heart.

[She said it first. That means-] Weren't sirens only beautiful from afar? Disgusting little demons up close or something.

[Will has exactly two seconds to realise what he just said.

Nope lied it was one second. Then he's punched just above his scythe wound WHOOPS.]

ERIKA!

[HE IS STOMPING OVER.

AND PICKING HIS GIRLFRIEND UP.]

[Erika is very lucky to have a boyfriend who loves her. It means she doesn't have to get maimed again for her actions. So while at least the intent and presence is down, there's still a glare shot in her direction before it points at Zelos. And flattens.]

Yeah. Get her out before she gets hurt. [At least now he's in a state of mind to be able to give warnings.]

[Erika flails in surprise but stops fast enough. Scolded, sulky cat. She huffs.]

Fine. [Oh but at least one good thing came of this.] Willard, don't forget your promise! Salt!

[SHE GETS TO SEE ANGEL WIIIIIIIINGS.]
