[At least she got the translation, and that she accepts her punishment. Even if her reasoning is just so she avoids lectures, the fact she's taking it at all is what allows him to let her go back to sprawling and inhaling his hair like it's catnip. Even then, the hand that was previously about to throw her into the street just pats her arm twice. A condolence, and a mild approval.]

I'll stay downstairs. That way he won't murder you in your sleep.

[And maybe put in a good word to do anything he wants shy of killing her. And maybe dismemberment, but that's up for consideration still.]
