I was just wondering. It wasn't exactly what I expected. It seemed more likely to me that you should have turned up in your baggiest clothes to try to hide the changes.

Or put it this way: an impossible thing can only have an impossible explanation. But since we're only human, it's the possible strangeness that comes as the greatest surprise.
