[Some fancy gathering and Minene really doesn't care too much about it. For starters, all these shindigs are all the same and boring and stupid. Politicians getting in their religious quota or whatever the hell it is they want. Probably even darker things here than just bribes but she imagines there's enough of that, too.
Some poor sap is probably dead in the river because Minene has robes on that let her blend in. Or, well, as best as she can. She thought about taking off the eyepatch but then she'd just look stupider with one eye always closed. So hair down and brushed over it. Maybe it's not needed with all these weirdos but can't be too careful.
After getting kitchen access, it was easy enough to smuggle a few ingredients in the robes and head out. A nice quiet area of this big place that she scoped out earlier. It looked like no one really comes over to this wing. She isn't going to take her time injecting the food with the poison but she can relax a little.
Minene is also eating a carrot as she works. What? She's hungry.]
