still, something seems to strike him, and he falls silent for a few moments. if this were a dream or hallucination or anything else, then he'd probably have to have done something just prior to waking up(?) in the sewers that would follow with that line of reasoning. but... he was pretty sure he was on the way home? but after that, he can't recall. he frowns. ]
